ALL ABOUT FAFSA

FAFSA is anticipated to be available starting in December at www.studentaid.gov.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an online form you fill out to determine if you are eligible for federal student aid including federal, state, and institutional grants, federal work-study, student loans, and some scholarships. Completing and submitting the application is free. We recommend you complete the FAFSA every year you are in school, regardless of your financial situation.

The FAFSA for the 2025-26 academic year (covering fall 25, spring 26, and summer 26) is estimated to become available in December, according to the U.S. Department of Education. Find out more on fafsa.gov.

Tips:

  • Apply for the FAFSA at www.studentaid.gov. Include our school code, 003123.
  • See step-by-step instructions about how to apply for and receive financial aid at UA.

Timing of financial aid award letters
