This scholarship was established in 1986 in honor of the Department of English professor who served as the faculty advisor to Phi Sigma Alpha, the college's scholastic honorary, for more than 20 years. It is awarded annually to the outstanding junior inductee of the society. Selections are based on academic merit. Recipients must be elected to Phi Sigma Alpha.

  3. Major-specific and Honors scholarships are awarded based on completion of specific requirements.
  4. Endowed scholarships are awarded to some students who have demonstrated history of leadership, community service or other personal factors. 
  5. Scholarships are also available from the Office of Accessibility, Military Services Center (for veterans) and ROTC.
  6. External scholarships are offered through Americorp and the Educational Training Voucher.
